Individual Psychotherapy for Adults

Therapy offers an opportunity to better understand the patterns that shape how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the challenges you face. While symptoms such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or emotional distress often bring people to treatment, therapy can also help illuminate deeper ways of thinking, feeling, and relating that may contribute to these struggles.

My approach is psychodynamic and mentalization-based. Together, we will work to better understand the thoughts, feelings, and relational patterns that shape your experience, including aspects of yourself that may not always be fully apparent. I draw from evidence-based psychodynamic treatments, including Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) and Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), which emphasize developing a richer understanding of oneself and others as a foundation for meaningful change.

The therapeutic relationship is an important part of this process. The patterns that shape our lives often emerge in therapy too, creating opportunities for reflection, understanding, and growth. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity – a space where difficult experiences can be explored openly and where new ways of understanding yourself and relating to others can develop over time.

Fees and Insurance

My self-pay fee is $200 per session.

I am currently in-network with Aetna. For clients using other insurance plans, I can provide a superbill that may be submitted for out-of-network reimbursement. Because reimbursement varies by plan, I encourage clients to contact their insurance provider directly to learn more about their out-of-network benefits.
