About Me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing psychotherapy to adults in Connecticut through both in-person and telehealth services.
I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from Xavier University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Menninger Clinic, where I received advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, personality assessment, and the treatment of individuals experiencing complex emotional and interpersonal difficulties. I have worked in outpatient, hospital, and intensive outpatient treatment settings with adults facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and longstanding patterns that can leave people feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves and others.
My work is informed by Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) and Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), two evidence-based psychodynamic approaches that emphasize developing a deeper understanding of oneself and one's relationships.. A central focus of my work involves helping people better understand themselves in the context of relationships. The patterns that emerge in our interactions with others often reflect ways of understanding ourselves that have developed over time. By paying attention to these patterns – including those that may arise within the therapeutic relationship itself – we can gain insight into recurring difficulties, deepen self-understanding, and create opportunities for meaningful change.
Whether you are seeking help for a specific problem or looking to better understand longstanding patterns in your life, therapy can provide a space for reflection, exploration, and growth. My hope is to offer a collaborative relationship in which meaningful change becomes possible.
